Samartex FC will take a shot at claiming the Ghana Premier League for the first time in history as they come up against GoldStars from Bibiani at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on June,2,2024.

The Timber boys lost their duel away to Kpando Hearts of Lions but that hasn’t deterred them as their closest contenders for the league, Nations FC fell away to Hearts of Oak.

The current league leaders have been on a perfect run of form at home, bagging six consecutive wins at home in six games.

This spate of good results at home has seen them score twelve goals, conceding three goals in six games.

Osei Wusu, Baba Musah, and Emmanuel Keyekeh have been the primary source of goals for the club, the trio have scored twenty-six goals from the club’s 40 goals in 31 games in the ongoing league.

Meanwhile, Frimpong Manso’s run away from home has not panned out the way they would have expected. They have secured only a single win in nineteen games, a feat they would have to improve as they travel to Samreboi.

Alex Aso, Prince Owusu, and Michael Appiah have been huge figures for the club in its goal scoring, which has catapulted them to 10th on the log with 43 points.
