Ghana Premier League side, Nations FC will go head-to-head with Nsoatreman FC in the last pile for games for the first round at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.

The newly promoted side has defied the odds in the league, having picked up five wins from their last seven games have pushed them up the league log, 7th, which they will hope to finish stronger as they take on Maxwell Konadu’s side at home.

The defeat away to Bechem United still runs deep in the heart of the host but Coach Kasim Mingle will heavily rely on some players such as Nafiu Suleman, Emmanuel Boahene, Victor Oduro, Barima Baah, Michael Awuah, Razak Simpson to break the duck and finish the first round on a winning note at Abrankese.

Fourth-placed Nsoatreman are bad customers on the road, two wins from their last eight games is a stat they will need to work on playing Nations away from home this weekend.

They will hope to cut the lead of Samartex FC’s lead in the league with a win against a side that is yet to lose a game at home this season.

The two sides will certainly fancy a win to end the first round on a high note.

Predictions: Nations FC 2-1 Nsoatreman FC
