Two of Ghana’s club heavyweights, Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will go up against each other in one of the finest clashes in the upcoming 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League.

The hosts have had a torrid campaign in the league, they went on a tirade of four game winless streak, against, Legon Cities, Hearts of Lions, Bechem United and Nations FC.

The spark of revival came against Aduana Stars were they managed to beat them 2-0 away from home at the Nana Agyemang Badu II park, with goals from Peter Asiedu and Albert Amoah.

They have 10 points from 18 points in 6 games that they have played at their adopted home grounds, Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

Bar the home loss against, Bibiani GoldStars, the away side have been on some fine form picking three consecutive wins against Medeama SC, Vision FC and Karela United and a home draw against Nsoatreman FC which has lifted them up to 6th on the log with 19 points.

Coach Ouattara has defied odds that his side is in pole position to win the league. According to him, he is trying to avoid a repeat of the team flirting with relegation.
