Former champions of the Ghana Premier League, Accra Hearts of Oak will honor their week six fixture against Samartex on Saturday, 21, October, 2023 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The hosts had their game week five against Hearts of Lions postponed as a result of the Akosombo Dam spillage which saw the loss of lives and properties destroyed.

Coach Martin Koopman has been under incensed pressure in the opening league fixtures following their inability to perform admirably in the league, so far, they have picked just a single win, over Nsoatreman FC.

Together with his charges, they will relish an opportunity to register their second win of the season after failing to get one over Dreams FC in the last home game at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Meanwhile, Samartex have enjoyed a good season above their normal weight levels, coping, three wins from five games pushing them to the 2nd position on the log.
The underlining issue to this fine form is their inability to win away from home, they have lost to Nations FC and Nsoatreman FC, a feat they will have to work on this weekend.

The away side is in their second season of the league and managed to pick four from six points against Hearts of Oak last season as they will be looking to get a favorable result away from home.
