Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak will go head-to-head in the Ga Mashie derby scheduled for the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, December 22, 2023.

The two Accra-based clubs are leveled on points, 17, as they face off in the round sixteen clash which will bring out the best from the duo who would be gunning for a top-half finish as the first round draws to a close.

The hosts have lost three of their last five games at home with coach Annor Walker looking to find an antidote to their dismal campaign in the league.

Meanwhile, the Phobians are no different about their form guide, a win in their away game to Accra Lions which they will be hoping to improve, the 6th club to notch as many as seven points playing away from home.

The visitors have acquired the service of former Kotoko Shots toper, Kwame Baah, Kwadwo Osei Bonsu, and Ivorian Cisse Kassim.

The host hopes to rely on Richard Attah’s services in post for the mistake-prone, Richmond Ayi, with others such as Dennis Korsah, Michael Ampadu, Thomas Winimi, Kashala Ramos, and Salifu Ibrahim.

Predictions: Great Olympics 1-2 Hearts of Oak
