    Hearts of Oak and Hohoe United will go head-to-head in an epic clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.



    The game will usher in the new 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with fans of both clubs eagerly looking to start the new season with a win.

    For the home team, the sacking of Ivorian trainer Outtara Aboubakar has seen the appointment of Didi Dramani, who hasn’t disappointed so far at the helm of affairs.
    The off-season also presented Hearts of Oak with the chance to augment the side, with the acquisition of several names, such as George Paaku, Abdul Karim from Nations FC, and Ali Mohammed from Golden Kick Fresh, to name a few.
    From the dungeons of Division One, Volta region club, Hohoe United, is making an entry to the Ghana Premier League.
    They gained as zone three champions, amassing an impressive 72 points from 30 matches (W23, D3, L4).

    Knowing very well that the Premier League is not for the faint-hearted, that has led them to augment the squad with the likes of Ebenezer Amega from Legon Cities, Kwaku Musah from FC Nania, Rainmasters’ Daniel Osei Senior, and former Great Olympics forward Michael Yeboah.
    This is the first time the pair will meet, and Didi Dramani has reiterated the need to start well in the new league season.

    President John Dramani Mahama and other notable personalities will grace the game with their presence.
