Hearts of Oak will be making a return to the Central Region, this time not to Elmina but to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, where they have adopted as their home venue for the next few weeks due to ‘’maintenance works” by the National Sports Authority, (NSA).

The capital-based club basked their first win of their season through ‘’prodigal son”, Gladson Awako’s belter, which helped them to pick 3 points at the Ndoum Sports Stadium, buoyed by those results, the returning Samuel Boadu, who took ill and was rushed to the hospital. He will be hoping to name a strong line-up against the traveling Accra Lions, who could only afford a barren draw against Legon Cities.

As things stand, Accra Lions lie 13th on the log with 8 points from 8 Ghana Premier League games. Rauf Salifu, Fredrick Asante, and Collins Acheampong have contributed to more than half of the club’s 6 goals scored this season.

This is the very first time both sets of clubs are meeting at the top flight level and with everything up for grabs they will certainly give off their very best to edge out victors at the end of the day.

    Predictions: Hearts 2-1 Accra Lions
