Kotoko will be at home to host Legon Cities for the week seven clash of the ongoing betPawa Premier League 2022/23 season.

The Porcupine Warriors have a lot going for them as they have managed to pick four wins from their last five games in the league, their only loss came away to Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park a difficult terrain for the host.

This weekend, they are oozing so much confidence after a Nicholas Mensah goal gave them a win over one of the league’s contenders Medeama SC at Tarkwa.

The Royals have not disappointed, per their standards in the league as things stand, they have copped three wins from six which has seen them ascend the league log to 5th with 10 points five adrift of the current table toppers, Accra Lions.

Coach Maxwell Konadu will hope to draw inspiration from players like Alex Aso, Michel Otou, Jonah Attuquaye, Mohammed Suleman, Kofi Kodzi to repeat the dosage from last season even though two-goals hero, Hans Kwoffie has since joined Medeama SC in the current campaign their squad still has an array of quality players that should be able to match the Porcupine Warriors in all department of the game.

There’s a lot at stake for either of these sides in the league, a win will see Kotoko ascend to the summit of the league for the first if other results skew in their favor whiles Legon Cities will hope to scrap a win or a point to aid their position into the top four heading into the World Cup break session.

    Predictions: Kotoko 2-1- Legon Cities
