WAFA SC will be hoping for improved performance when they lock horns with traveling AshGold at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena over the weekend.

The Academy boys have not enjoyed the best of stats in the ongoing league, picking 5 points from a possible 15 under new coach, Guillermo Zaragoza.

As things stand, they have managed a paltry 5 from 9 points of which they will be hoping to get the better off AshGold, who themselves are not enjoying the best of the campaign.

The Aboakese lads are making a return to Sogakope Arena where they held their hosts to a goalless draw in the former season. They will be hoping to capitalize on the frails of their host when they take on each other yet again.

AshGold lie 8th on the log with 8 points averaging a point per game, having taken 3 points on their away travels.

The notable absence of mercurial midfield gem, Lawrence Agykeum and Godwin Agbevor will be a source of worry for coach Zaragoza but hopefully, he will be able to rally his charges against AshGold, who are better placed when it comes to head-to-head matches between the pair having won 5 from the last 12 duels and drawing 4 as a result.

    Predictions: WAFA SC 2-1 AshGold
