Defending Champions Accra Hearts of Oak will have Eleven Wonders to contend with for the 3 maximum points when the pair come up against each other in week 13 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

On the back of losing to Medeama SC in midweek, the home side are red-eyed to appease their home supporters who have not been impressed with their recent showings in the ongoing Ghana Premier League 2021-22.

As things stand, they are 9 points off their bitter rivals, Kotoko, who sit at the summit of the table with 26 points. In the last five games, they have picked 7 points from a possible 15 which hasn’t aided their title push in any way.

Samuel Boadu and his charges have picked 9 points in their last few games, their last home encounter ended in a goalless stalemate against Bechem United which raised a lot of eyebrows in the camp of the Phobians.

Meanwhile, Yaw Acheampong’s, Elven Wonders are a position above the relegation belt, 16th on the log with 12 points. Their dismal away record is something they will have to remedy, having picked a point in as many away games.

Abdul Ganiu, Ibrahim Laar have been the club’s main source of goals, combining efforts to score 7 out of the club’s 10 goals, conceding 14 as a result, which could tilt in favor of the host should they take full advantage of their defensive frailties.

Predictions: Hearts of Oak 2-1 Eleven Wonders
