Champions elect, Asante Kotoko will travel downside to play Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium. Their midweek fixture against AshGold at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium which ended in a draw provided them with the respite of winning their 25th Ghana Premier League triumph.

The Porcupine Warriors are coming into this fixture on the back of picking 27 points from 15 league outings away from home, they top the charts with the most points accrued from playing away.

The Dade boys, on the other hand, are not enjoying the best of fortunes, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for them, in their last 5 games, they have only basked a victory. Their prior match against, King Faisal, a victory undone by a late controversial penalty, will weigh heavily on their shoulders but that aside, there is a big mounting to climb in a certain, Kotoko side, oozing with immense confidence from basking the league title.

In what many would have expected, Olympics to win at home, they lost to Medeama SC, that loss is still fresh in their memory, certainly, they will be looking to pick all the 3 maximum points up for grabs to appease their disgruntled fans this weekend,

The league may look wrapped for Kotoko, but Great Olympics will harbor the ambition of pushing for top 4 finish as they lay 8th on the log with 44 points.

Prosper Narteh is a mixed bag of tactics, confidence, and sheer victory looking to spur his side not to relent on their efforts, Frank Mbella tied on goals with Yaw Annor will clearly fancy his chances of winning the goal king award will count on his teammates to provide him with the necessary support.

    Predictions: Great Olympics 1-1 Kotoko
