Aduana Stars will have Asante Kotoko to contend with for three points at the Nana Agyemang Badu Stadium in Dormaa on Sunday.

The two teams have had a fair share of contrasting fortunes in the ongoing league.

The hosts are unbeaten in their last four games which will certainly give them a boost in the lead-up to the game against the Porcupine Warriors.

The Ogya boys have been very resilient, picking 2 wins, 6 draws, and 3 losses this season aiding them to 12th on the log with 12 points.

Meanwhile, the story of Kotoko has grown from bad to worse in recent weeks. The team was inches away from serenading GoldStars to the apex of the league but a wind of bad fortunes hit them hard coupling in four straight losses pushing them down to 8th on the log.

Coach Prosper Ogun Narteh has rallied the fans to be patient as he navigates the course of this bad form together with his boys but that will come at an even bigger task against a familiar foe in Aduana Stars.

The only respite for the Reds is that they are better placed in head-to-head encounters. They have picked, Kotoko has four wins from the last six meetings, with the host securing just one win.

This game represents everything for both teams. The host will hope to fine-tune their season back on track while the Porcupine Warriors will hope to break a duck of four consecutive league losses to redeem themselves from shame and reproach.
