It wasn’t until last week that, Ghanaian defender, Lumor Agbenyenu filled with all smiles inking pen to paper after earning a big-money move to Greek side as Aris Thessaloniki FC.

This week, unfortunate news of the demise of his four-year-old son has surfaced according to local media reports.

The cause of the death of Lumor’s son is currently unknown as scanty information has been provided by representatives of the young defender.

His new club, as part of club policy, have granted him some days off to come to his native, Ghana to embark on arrangements for the burial and funeral rites of his deceased son.

The 24-year-old defender is well-traveled across Europe, playing for sides like FC Porto, Portimonense,1860 Munich, Goztepe, Real Mallorca, and now Greek side Aris.

Agbenyenu has featured 13 times for Ghana.
