The second transfer window in the betPawa Premier League came with its usual frenzy and suspense as Ghanaian clubs looked to cash in on some players, cut their ties with others, and finalize deals for new players before the window was closed.

In recent times the league has become home for several nationals on the African continent and beyond, others (Victorien Adebayor, Fabio Gama, Frank Etouga, Raddy Ovouka) have used it to secure better deals abroad, it was least surprising to see some of the clubs like Kotoko, Hearts and Great Olympics resorting to signing these players of other national descent.

Hearts of Oak signed Linda Mtange (Congo), Albert Eonde Diego (Cameroonian), and Japanese international, Jindo Morishita also joined Great Olympics whiles Kotoko added Brazilian import, Medeiros De Souza to their fold.

One player that drew loads of attention in the dying embers of the transfer window was former Tema Youth player, Evans Osei Wusu, two of the biggest clubs Hearts and Kotoko went head-to-head for signature but it appeared the player and his representatives made a choice in newly promoted side, Samartex, such a massive coup for the club for the youngster to continue his development.

For the first time in a number of years, a player crossed from Hearts of Oak to Kotoko safely and peacefully without the usual drama in past seasons, it came with.

In this piece we look at the final transfer deals some of the clubs were able to get over the line.
