    Legon Cities head coach, Maxwell Konadu is optimistic about his side’s chances of beating relegation after exiting the MTN FA Cup tournament.



    The Accra-based side went head-to-head with fellow league competitors, Dreams FC but at the end of the entire throttle of the game, an Ebenezer Addae goal deep into extra time proved the match-winner.

    Speaking in his post-match reaction, Coach Maxwell Konadu emphasized the need for his side to stay afloat in the ongoing league, which is entering its final stages.



    “Was a good game by all standards. We kept pushing and pushing till the end. The boys played their hearts out today and I am proud of them. We have one thing on our mind to go all out in the league and survive,” he ended

    The Royals, 16th place on the league are facing a possible relegation scare and will have all to play for when they play against Kotoku Royals in week twenty-six of the ongoing betPawa Premier League.
