Legon Cities closing in on Anthony Annan

Legon Cites are on the verge of sealing a deal to sign BlackStars midfielder, Anthony Annan in the about to shut Ghanaian transfer window for the 2020-21 season.

The 34-year old currently plies his trade in Finland for Inter Tuku with his existing contract near expiration in November 2020.

The nomadic midfielder started his career from, Sekondi Hasaacas, before moving on to sides like Hearts of Oak, Stabæk, Rosenborg, Schalke, Vitesse Arnhem, Osasuna, HJK,1860 Munich, Beitar Jerusalem, and now Inter Tuku.

The Royals have strengthened their squad ahead of the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League in order to improve on their prior results last season.

Anthony Annan has made 15 appearances for Inter Tuku in the Veikkausliiga netting a goal in the process.

If Legon Cities are able to snap up Anthony Annan into their fold, it will add up to an experienced duo of Asamoah Gyan and Fatau Dauda.
