Legon Cities’ Alex Aso was left disappointed as his side fell to Aduana Stars in game week 5 of the ongoing betPawa Premier League 2022/23.

The Ogya boys got their early lead through Isaac Mintah across the run of play to the excitement of fans at the Nana Agyemang Badu II park.

Alex Aso, who has become an integral figure coach, Maxwell Konadu, was hopeful that his side who be able to at least take something out of their crunch away fixture but that didn’t materialize.

According to the talented midfielder, they missed lots of chances and came back to hunt them in the game.

Speaking to Saharafootball.net after the game, he said “We had a very good game, we played well as a team, the first 20 minutes we should have scored because of pressure we mounted on them, we created some chances but we couldn’t convert” he ended.

The 23-year-old midfielder has since made 3 outings from 5 games in the ongoing betPawa Premier League and will be hoping that efforts take a positive turn in the coming weeks.

Legon Cities have managed to pick 2 wins from 5 games and would be looking to return to winning ways when they host Accra Great Olympics at the El-Wak Stadium.
