Ghana’s teenage sensation, Lawrence Agyekum made his senior debut for Austrian club, RB Salzburg in a five goals thriller away to Altach in the Admiral Bundesliga.

The 18-year-old midfielder was introduced in the 61st minute as a replacement for Sekou Koita Adamu at the Cashpoint Arena.

In the over 30 minutes of game time that, Agyekum had to play, he put up some solid display in the heart of midfield, dazzled runs, groundbreaking passes, and a supreme work ethic.

The victory sees Salzburg open a 5 points gap at the summit of the table to second-placed Sturm Graz with 21 points after 11 games.

Agyekum having spent the last two seasons on loan at FC Liefering will hope his cameo will mark the beginning of more great things with the Austrian club who are set to play Zagreb in the Champions League in midweek.
