WAFA SC midfielder Lawrence Agyekum was left fuming as his side were pegged back twice by Legon Cities at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena in week 4 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League 2021-22 season.

The home side were in dire need of a win to kick start their season after going winless in 3 matches.

In the opening embers of the game, mercurial midfield gem, Lawrence Agyekum shot his side into the lead with a beautifully crafted shot outside the penalty box only for the away side to restore parity twice in the game.

”It was a good game. We played very well today unlike the other games where we struggled to pitch passes and get to our tempo, we did well to keep possessions than our opponents.

“They surprised us with how they played today, we didn’t expect them to give us a run like this but all we got was a draw which we intend to build  on although am a little disappointed,” he told Saharafootball.net

Agyekum courted by RB Salzburg, Austria has been a key figure at WAFA SC since returning from a career-threatening injury has been involved in his side’s 3 goals they have scored this season.

WAFA SC lie 16th with 2 points under new coach Guillermo Zaragoza.
