    Ghanaian teen sensation Lawrence Agyekum assisted in Cercle Brugge’s 4-1 thrashing of Westerlo in the Belgian Pro League.



    Agyekum switched from RB Salzburg in Austria on a season-long loan and impressed his Belgian employers hence concretizing his move in the summer.

    The game started with a lot of frantic pace and energy from both teams, but the host side made their superiority count in the game.
    Pieter Gerkens opened the scoring in the 35th minute to set the whole stadium ablaze.

    Lawrence Agyekum bossed the midfield and threaded a fine pass to Alan Minda for the second goal of the game.
    Steve Ngoura scored the third goal on the stroke of half-time.

    Upon recess, Josimar Alcocer reduced the deficit by a goal, but Adewumi Olu ensured his name was on the scoresheet.
    Lawrence Agyekum was taken off in the 87th minute, replaced by Erik Nunnes.

    Brugge has played four games and accumulated four points in the ongoing 2025/26 Jupiler Pro League
    Agyekum and his charges will travel to Maurice Dufrasnestadion to face  St. Liege in the next game of the league game.
