Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with midfielder, Lawali Mamane after three years at the club.

The lanky midfielder joined Hearts of Oak in 2019 but got injured in his first year at the club and had to undergo a series of surgeries in South Africa.

The midfielder opted against signing a new contract with the side when he was handed a one-year deal by the capital-based club.

The Nigerien expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Board Chairman, stakeholders, and other vested parties for their relentless support for him during his injury scare.

He said “I am grateful to the Board Chairman for helping me get my surgery and ensuring that I can continue to play and make a living. I thank the fans as well for keeping faith in me even though I wasn’t playing they still believed in me.”

The hard-tacking midfielder will hope to secure a move elsewhere now that he has left Accra Hearts of Oak
