Kwesi Appiah to take legal actions against Ghana FA

Whenever someone delivers on a job he has been mandated to do for a specified period its important to pay them for their services rendered for that period in question.

Coach Kwesi Appiah served as Black Stars Head a second time running in that capacity. He had to bade time on his job after his contract was not renewed when the new administration under Kurt Okraku felt they needed a new direction.

The former senior national team player and coach is demanding for his unpaid salary arrears of $175,000 from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Appiah was on a $35,000 monthly salary and was owed in arrears for five months amounting to $175,000 before his contract expired in December 2019.

Reports circling around states that Kwesi Appiah has written to the Ghana FA through his Lawyer for payments to be done.

Appiah duly returned the official car in his possession but is yet to return keys to the apartment he currently occupies.

It remains to be seen if the GFA will honor its obligation to pay Kwesi Appiah his arrears owed him.
