Kudjoe Fianoo cautions Dr. Kwame Kyei on his second term at Kotoko

Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) chairman, Kudjoe Fianoo, has cautioned  Dr. Kwame Kyei to take cues from his first spell at Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Dr. Kyei comes into this role the second time running after his three year mandate at the helm of affairs ended in April 2020 after submitting a report of his overall tenure.

Life Patron of the club, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II then set up a three-member committee headed by Professor Lydia Nkansah to investigate the affairs of the club.

The committee submitted its report of which a restructured board announced last week, saw Dr. Kwame Kyei head the newly constituted Executive Board.

However, the astute football administrator, Kudjoe Fianoo has cautioned, the business mogul to take clues from his first stint at the club and collectively work with his new board that was constituted barely a week ago.

“He (Dr. Kyei) should learn his lessons this time and with the rich personalities on the board, they will take Kotoko to the promised land”. he told Light FM

Dr. Kwame Kyei will be looking to build on his earlier success, which saw him win the MTN FA Cup, President Cup, Normalisation Committee Tier I Special Competition as well as reaching the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2018.
