    Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Frederick Asare will miss the remainder of the season following an injury in the club’s friendly game in midweek.



    The 23-year old, who teamed up with the record holders of the league, Kotoko has been in blistering form, manning the post in twenty separate occasions for the club in the ongoing campaign.

    The club engaged the services off lower-tier team Betenase in a bid to prepare for their away fixture to betPawa Premier League side, Kotoku Royals.

    In what appeared as a normal injury which saw Asare play on to help the team on to victory against Betenase has seen him been ruled out for the rest of the season following a leg injury.

    The Porcupine Warriors basked the win with goals from captain Richard Boadu, Solomon Sarfo Taylor, and Augustine Agyapong to seal the victory over the low tier side.

    It’s expected that, second choice goalkeeper, Dandled Ibrahim will be in post in place of the injured Asare as they travel away to match up Kotoku Royals.
