Kotoko imposed their superiority over GoldStars in game week nineteen of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The away side began the early exchanges on the front foot, forcing a corner kick within five minutes of play. The striker dealt with the lobbed corner kick, Kalo Ouattara, who leaped highest and defended gallantly to prevent the host from conceding the first goal.

The host created few chances of their own through, Justice Blay, Kalo, and Steven Mukwala but all these efforts failed to terrorize the defense of the visiting side.

Youngster, Peter Amidu pounced on a loosed ball and scored from a tight angle to gift the Porcupine Warriors the lead heading into the first-half break.

The second half failed to produce any goals between the two sides.
