    Asante Kotoko smashed Legon Cities for three in week twelve of the ongoing league at the Sogakope Red Bull Arena. 

     



    The host had only basked a single win in five games, which mounted pressure on coach Paa Kwesi Fabian and his boys to try and get a positive result over the visitors.

    Meanwhile on the back of posting a slender win over Medeama SC, Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and the team were looking to continue right from where they left off.

    Goalkeeper Fred Asare was in post for the second game running, Mohammed Sherrif, Kalo Outtara, Eric Zeze, Steven Mukwala, and George Mfegue with Richmond Lamptey, the captain for the day.  

    Captain Nasiru Moro expertly swung his free-kick beyond the reach of goalkeeper Fred Asare to register the first goal of the game in the 27th minute. 

    Kotoko found fortune smiling on them as Mohammed Suleman miscued beyond his goalkeeper, Kwame Aziz for the equalizer in the 67th minute.

    Steve Mukwala pandered in the second goal for the Porcupine Warriors on the 74th-minute mark to send the away team into ruptures later Isaac Oppong added the third and final goal to seal a massive victory for the away side. 

    The results see, Kotoko up to 8th on the log with 16 points, Legon Cities is one of three sides battling relegation.
