kumasi based King Faisal have been relegated from the Ghana Premier League

Despite a commendable 3-1 triumph over Legon Cities in their second-to-last match of the season, King Faisal’s relegation fate was sealed as other outcomes did not work in their favor.

King Faisal made their return to the top division in 2019 following the Ghana Football Association Congress decision, which aimed to expand the league and settle legal disputes.

This decision led to the addition of King Faisal and Great Olympics, increasing the number of clubs to 18.

After four seasons, King Faisal has unfortunately been relegated and will compete in the Division One League next season, joining Kotoku Royals in the demotion.

Nevertheless, owner Alhaji Grusah is adamant that they deserve three points due to an alleged case of Tamale City fielding an ineligible player against them.

Despite the dismissal of their protest, Grusah remains determined to seek justice.

The relegation of King Faisal is undoubtedly a disappointment for the club and their supporters. Despite their notable victory over Legon Cities, they were unable to evade the drop.

Alhaji Grusah’s unwavering pursuit of justice reflects the frustration and desire to rectify what he perceives as an unjust situation.

While the outcome of his efforts remains uncertain, it underscores the club’s determination to fight for fairness and what they believe is right.
