Bjorkegren succeeds Nora Hauptle, who left to take up the role of Copper Queens after her contract was not renewed by the Ghana FA.

The 43-year-old will meet the press on Friday, February 14, at the GFA Secretariat, where he will outline his plans for the team.

Bjorkegren’s first test will be a friendly game against North African giants, Morocco on Friday, 21 February 2025 in Casablanca.
