Black Queen’s coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has assured the country of success after he was unveiled in a colorful ceremony held at the secretariat of the Ghana Football Association.

He takes over from Nora Häuptle, who was let go after the expiration of her contract in December.

She has since joined the Copper Queens of Zambia in January 2025.

Kim Lars Bjorkegren during his unveiling revealed that he was hopeful of grinding success out of the pool of talented players at his disposal.

“The most important aspect of my job is to visit all the players, watch games, and help them improve,” Bjorkegren said at the unveiling.

“Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but I think the most important thing for me, the staff, and the players is to work hard every single day to ensure that we will be successful sooner or later.

“I can see so much talent in this country, so I am sure that, in the short term, we have the potential to be successful. In the long term, I can always guarantee that we will be successful.” he ended.
