Simba forward Jonathan Sowah continued his impressive goal-scoring streak for his new side.
The Ghanaian international, who played in his team’s friendly game against Egyptian Premier League side Enppi Sporting Club, was on the score sheet for his side.
Despite Simba’s 4-3 loss to Enppi, Sowah made sure his presence on the field counted, where he played 45 minutes.
The goal marked his second goal in two games for Simba in their ongoing pre-season friendly duels.
The former champions finished the 2024/25 season just four points behind champions Yanga SC and are aiming to reclaim the league title after a four-year drought.
The club will participate in the CAF Champions League next season.
Sowah will be hoping to make his mark against his former club, Singida Black Stars, in the semi-finals of the Community Shield and other competitions.
