Their positive start to their season has seen many tagging them as one of the favorites to win the Ghana Premier League.

In a rather sharp contrast, coach Manso has diffused the assertion of the side winning the league saying he is only focused on the next game and not winning the league.

“It’s too early to talk about winning the league, this is about the 8th week and we are playing 34 games, so there is still a long way to go. I’m thinking about the next game”. he ended.

GoldStars have swayed lots of the narratives in their favor by starting this season’s league contest on a position note, sitting at the summit of the table with 18 points, 3 adrift, Kotoko in the second spot. The Phobians have just won two from eight games with the pressure mounting on the technical team to improve their fortunes.

They host Dreams FC in the next game at the Duns Park, a fortress, they have created in the Ghana Premier League.
