Kotoko’s new technical director, Karim Zito has issued a stern warning to the players not to rest on their laurels in the final games of the Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko let go of Prosper Ogum Narteh in a managerial reshuffle following a poor performance in the league.

The club lost two consecutive games to Accra Lions and Nations FC, which culminated in the sacking of Ogum Narteh from the club.

Karim Zito has sounded a word of caution to the players in his first official media appearance.

“We reminded them (Kotoko’s players) that it is not over until it is done,” Zito said, emphasizing the importance of staying focused and determined.

“In these games, we will play against those at the top, and we can do something.”

Kotoko will host Aduana Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday before their crucial fixture against Hearts of Oak a week later at the Accra Sports Stadium.
