Elmina Sharks gave their all in a spirited performance with high hopes of elevating themselves from the drop zone as they played host to King Faisal at the Ndoum Sports Stadium with an Ishmael Antwi goal proving decisive for them to secure all the three maximum points in the match week 24 of the Ghana Premier League 2021/22.

The Elmina-based club were coming into this fixture on the back of losing to Karela United, a week ago at the Ainyanse.

The home club who picked up all the points through, defender, Ishmael Antwi expressed massive delight that his goal on the day did the magic for his struggling club who are still picking the pieces in the ongoing league.

“Am very happy for scoring the only goal in the game and also getting all the three points”

“The game wasn’t easy though but we manage to take all the three points so we are hoping for the best coming next week against Hearts,” he told Saharafootball.net

The highly-rated defender who is slowly growing into a wild beast on the laterals has played on 9 separate occasions with 2 goals to his credit.

Meanwhile, Elmina Sharks occupy the 18th position on the log with 18 points from 24 league games awaiting their next duel which comes up against Hearts of Oak in Accra.
