Ghana will play an international friendly against Mexico in May, 2026.

The venue for the international friendly is yet to be announced, but the date is fixed for Friday, May 22, 2026, in Mexico.

The game forms part of preparations for the two countries using the game to fine-tune their squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

Otto Addo and his newly beefed-up technical team will use this friendly game to assess his squad, which will comprise domestic and foreign-based players.

This friendly brings Ghana’s preparatory matches to three, having already announced Austria and Germany for the next FIFA International window in March.

The squad list for the international friendly will be announced by the technical team days before the game.

The Black Stars already know their opponents in Group L with matches against Panama, England, and Croatia.
