The Black Queens of Ghana lost narrowly to the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in an international friendly game.

The Black Queens playing for the first time under new head coach Kim Björkegren gave a solid performance worthy of emulation.

The first half ended in a goalless draw while the second half looked as though it would end similar to the first saw the West African giants concede late in injury time.

Saoud Imane scored at the dearth of the game to secure victory for the host.
