Ghana and Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams has defied odds that he will crumble under pressure playing for the senior national team, Ghana Blackstars.

The pacy forward who recently completed his national switch to play for Ghana remarked that his experiences in Europe for Basque club, Bilbao will help him during his stint with the Blackstars as he’s used to playing under pressure.

“The pressure is part of football, I have played about 300 games in Spain and the pressure is good for me,

Going to Blackstars,  I will enjoy the pressure because this is important for me and my teammates,

It(Blackstars) represents all the people. All the kids have a dream to play for the Blackstars and when I have the opportunity. I will work hard for the children who will see me on T.V” he told T.V.3’s Juliet Bawuah..

Inaki Williams will represent Ghana in the upcoming FIFA World Cup slated for Qatar,2022.

Ghana is housed alongside, Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea in Group H.
