An Executive Member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Randy Abbey, has debunked suggestions in the local media that he has strong ambitions of contesting for presidential elections in October 2023.

Speaking in a recent media interview with Asempa FM, he disassociated himself from vying for the presidential seat when it comes up for contest at Congress.

“I’m not interested in contesting for the GFA presidential seat; it is out of the equation,”

“It is not something that I have ever thought about. It is not something I am interested in. So as for FA presidency, it’s out.” he ended.
