    Ghanaian youngster Lawrence Agyekum has voiced his optimism following his summer move to Cercle Brugge in the Belgian Pro League.

     



    The talented midfielder will have a new home with Cercle Brugge for an entire season with an option to buy. He was loaned to Red Bull Salzburg’s development club, FC Liefering.

    During his stint with the club, he made 49 appearances and was involved in seven-goal contributions.  

    He spoke exclusively to Saharafootball.net from Belgium after completing his medical and penning his new deal.

    The tireless midfielder revealed his excitement about how this loan move could positively boost his career.

    “I’m excited about my next step because it’s going to give me a boost in my career. Playing consistent first-team football helps in a player’s development and I’m happy for this opportunity to help in my career development”. he ended.

    Agyekum has joined his new teammates in the Netherlands for the ongoing pre-season
