Former Tamale City player, Sampson Eduku has disclosed what inspires him to play football following an end to a solid performance in the betPawa Premier League 2022/23 season.

The free-agent’s display in the just-ended league which saw him courted by a host of clubs in the league and beyond has expressed his intention of wanting to help his family, hence, the reason to play football.

Speaking in a recent interview, the forward disclosed several things that inspire him to play active football but essentially the burning desire to help his family through football.

“I just look at how people are earning a lot of money as footballers. In Ghana, when you play hard, you get the chance to travel outside and I was born with it so why not, it’s something I’m good at doing. Look at other players like Messi, and Ronaldo, I want to do well to help my family” he told Football View

Eduku’s scored 14 goals in the betPawa Premier League 2022/23 season which earned him a call-up to Black Galaxies first batch of players to be screed by Mas-Ud-Didi Dramani and his technical team.

Eduku has had previous stints with, Karela United FC, Elmina Sharks, Sekondi Hasaacas FC, and Samartex 1996, Tamale City.
