Accra Hearts of Oak beat Hearts of Lions in the  2025 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Two first-half goals from the home side were enough to stage the difference between the two outfits.
Recruit Frank Duku opened the scoring for Hearts of Oak in the 36th minute of the game after he got on the end of  Ali Mohammed.

Four minutes later, leading marksman for the Phobians, Hamza Issah, showed pace and power to score a stunning goal with a perfect pass from another recruit, George Paku, to  double the lead for Hearts of Oak.
Despite a spirited effort from Heart of Lions in the second half, the team could not break down the Hearts of Oak defense.
