    The BlackStars of Ghana lost the plot against Niger in the final round of 2025 AFCON qualifying series at Accra Sports Stadium.

     



    Niger got their noses in front host through a corner which was headed in by Ousseni Badamassi on the 22nd minute mark to rally on the visitors.

    Jerry Afriyie pulled the BlackStars back on the 67th minute mark to the relieve off the technical bench.

    Oumar Soko got the winner on the 94th  minute to send shock waves through the stadium.

    HIGHLIGHTS :

    This also sees the side failing to qualify for AFCON showpiece, the first in 20 years.

    The BlackStars finished button of the log with three points from six games in the 2025 AFCON qualifying series in a group that had Angola, Sudan and Niger.
