    Hearts of Oak lifted the Homowo Charity Cup at the expense of Heart of Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.



    The Phobians edged their Kpando guests 8-7 on penalties to win the game.

    Former Hearts of Lions forward, Kwadwo Obeng Junior shot his side into the lead on the 3rd-minute mark unsettling the host and putting them through enough pressure in the game.

    Attacking midfielder Hussein Mohammed restored the Phobians on level terms with minutes to end the full throttle of the game.

    The game proceeded to penalties which saw the Accra-based team win 8-7 penalties with Lions’ Bismark Anim missing the crucial spot kick for the visitors.
