Hearts of Oak has officially wrapped up a deal for Kofi Agbesimah on a permanent contract from Bechem United.

Agbesimah penned down a two-year deal with an option to sign one more year after completing his medicals with the Accra-based side.

The towering center-back was the subject of intense transfer interest from Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, FC, and St. George from Ethiopia.

The hard-tackling defender joined Bechem United from lower-tier team Bectero FC and went on to establish himself as one of the best defenders on the local scene.

He made over 130 outings for his former side and will be hoping to bolster the defense of Hearts under new coach, Martin Koopman.
