    Hearts of Oak new defender, Konadu Yiadom has disclosed reasons on why he opted to switch from WAFA SC to Accra Hearts of Oak. 



    Konadu was subject to an intense transfer war between, three former league champions, Hearts, Kotoko, and Aduana Stars but ultimately the lad together with his camp decided on the capital-based side for the upcoming season.

    He signed a 3-year deal with the MTN FA Cup Champions.

    In an interview with the club’s media team during his unveiling, he remarked that Hearts of Oak was the best side on the local hence the reason he teamed up with them.

    “I chose the best team in our league because I have to achieve my career ambitions.



    “This is where the aim will be most fulfilled. It’s a dream come true,” the highly-rated defender said

    The towering defender was recently part of the Black Galaxies squad that masterminded the country’s qualification to Algeria after failing in 3 prior attempts. 

    He is expected to form a solid partnership with Mohammed Alhasssan in the upcoming as the duo would look to make a mark on the local scene as well as their involvement in the CAF Confederations Cup.
