Hearts of Oak put their winless streak to the test as they beat Young Apostles away from home at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.

The visitors were on a two-game winless streak and needed a revival in their weekend game away from home.

Meanwhile, the host lost away to Samuel Boadu’s Berekum Chelsea at Golden City Park and was looking to return to winning ways but their visitors had other plans.
Coach Outarara rang three changes, Asamoah Boateng, Randorf Mensah, Stephen Asare Appiah for Kwabena Boateng, Emmanuel Amankwah, and Yussif Rzak.

They dominated possession in the first half, scoring but had the goal overruled for handball.
A team effort allowed full-back Emmanuel Amakwah, making his first start for the club to score five minutes after recess.

Samuel Prempeh pulled the home side back on level terms on the 84th-minute mark but that was shortlived as Hamza Issah restored his side’s lead in just two minutes.

The results show that the visitors picked their first win away from home, the second in six games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Young Apostles travel down south to face Accra Lions while Hearts will play Dreams FC.
