Hearts of Oak arrive in Ghana after 3-0 loss to Real Bamako

Accra Hearts of Oak have safely landed in Accra their  after 3-0 loss to Real Bamako in the CAF Confederations cup.



The Phobians arrived at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday from Mali. The current FA cup champions will continue their preparations towards the return league in Accra.

The club in their official release indicated that, the team will resume training this afternoon  ahead of the return leg.

It is expected that, the club with play more friendly matches to keep the boys in shape as the Ghana premier league has been suspended.

The Phobia boys are still without a head coach after sacking Samuel Boadu some weeks ago. Assistant coach and interim head coach,David Ocloo will continue to take charge of the team till a new head coach is confirmed.

Hearts of Oak are seeking to overturn a 3-0 deficit in the return league at the Accra Sports Stadium. The club is Ghana’s only hope in Africa as current league champion, Asante Kotoko were eliminated earlier in the CAF champions league.
