Hearts of Oak have cut ties with Cameroon forward, Junior Kaaba in the current betPawa Premier League campaign.

The forward joined Hearts of Oak from Fauvre FC in Cameroon in a contract that was valid for 2 years.

He ended the 2021-22 season with 11 goals and provided 5 assists in the Cameroon League.

In a statement released by the club through the Twitter handle, excerpts of it read.

“Accra Hearts of Oak have mutually terminated the contract of Cameroon striker, Junior Kaaba”

They went on to thank him for his services rendered to the club during his time spent with them.

The 23-year-old made 6 appearances for the former winners of the Ghana Premier League and failed to score or assist in any of the games he featured in for the club.

It’s unclear what attributed to his release from the club as he’s one of three players, Alhassan, and Fatawu Mohammed, who have since been shown the exit door.
