Hearts of Oak midfielder Hussein Mohammed has been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for misconduct in the game against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
He is alleged to have charged on referee Collins Amoah to seek answers to how he handled the game.

This stems from the penalty he awarded to Kotoko and his denial of a late equalizer which was flagged offside.

The GFA described the player’s conduct as a serious breach of Articles 12(1)(k) and 34(6)(d) of the Disciplinary Code, which prohibits threatening or attempting to assault match officials.

Hussein Mohammed has until Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to respond to the charge
In a related development, the player has come out to apologize to the Ghana Football Association, Club, Players, and supporters, expressing his deep regret for his actions after the game.
