Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara has refused to apportion blame to his players following their league loss to Asante Kotoko in Kumasi on Sunday.

The two arch-rivals went head-to-head against each other in one of the fiercest battles of game week thirteen in the league.

In what looked as though it might end in a draw, Albert Amoah pounced on a defensive blunder on the part of Asibey Osei to slot the ball pass Benjaimen Asare in post for Hearts of Oak.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Coach Ouattara has refused to lay in on any of his players after they fell away to Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

“I don’t want to blame any player but when you are big and go to the supermarket, don’t bring any small attackers and that is the problem,” he said.

Hearts of Oak will hope to revive their title hopes as they play host to Berekum Chelsea in game week 14 of the league at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
