    The Manager of Ghana Black Stars midfielder Christian Atsu has confirmed that the player was found alive and has been pulled out of the wreckage caused by the earthquake in Turkey.



    News broke several hours ago that Chrsitain Atsu and Hatayspor club director Taner Savut were trapped under a rubble following the devastating earthquake in Turkey.

    However, Hatayspor manager has given an update on the situation, he confirms Christian Atsu has been found but the club director is unfortunately still under the rubble.

    ” I just had another meeting, Christian Atsu was taken to the hospital with injuries” he said

    “Christian Atsu was removed injured. Our sporting director Taner Savut is unfortunately still under the rubble. We are coming towards the end of the most dangerous hours” he added.



    Ghana Football Association continue to establish contact with Hatayspor to get more updates on the player’s condition at the hospital.
